Fire detection control panel maintenance

Dewofire carries out annual maintenance on all types of panels in accordance with the execution standards NBN S21-100-1 and NBN S21-100-2 (annual inspection).
The annual maintenance includes the following:

  • Checking the maintenance logbook

  • Inspection of external mechanical damage

  • Checking internal wiring

  • Inspection of electrical connections

  • Reading any faults

  • Testing detectors with smoke

  • Lamp test on the control panel

  • Checking overall operation and control of components

  • Checking batteries

  • Filling in the maintenance logbook

  • Replacement of defective parts is only performed after a approved quotation

In addition to the annual maintenance of fire alarm control panels, we also handle the maintenance of smoke vents according to execution standard NBN S21-208.1 (annual inspection).


Annual smoke vent maintenance includes:

  • Inspection of external mechanical damage

  • Checking the opening and closing of the vent

  • Inspection of smoke vent seals

  • Checking the operation of the dome motors

  • Inspection and maintenance of moving parts

  • Checking the control mechanism of the vent
